When you are very young before you get your final adult teeth and you aren't on city water which has fluoridation you eat a tiny tiny fluoride tablet and it gets in your system and protects your adult teeth when forming. It's not topical.

You then stop before you are teen or something. It worked for me. I've only had one cavity in my life.

I love some but I am watching way way less than I use to. Like maybe just one or two a season now. Things have changed and while there are some innovative and/or entertaining anime now, I think alot has been watered down for international audiences and censored for content. Many uniquely Japanese jokes and mannerisms aren't translated correctly or included at all. That may be fine for new audiences but not someone whose been in the fandom for years and has visited Japan many times and has an OK understanding of certain areas of Japanese culture.
