Any diabetic chinnycucks? Chud 10/08/26 (Thu) 11:17:55 № 735600
I'm think I got diabetes last week after deciding to screw it and eat a whole box of McNuggets, after that I think that's the final straw for my body. I haven't been to the doctor in two years because I lost my original health insurance and the one provided by my workplace got screwed the first year, but I'm finally covered but I still can't see the doctor for a few weeks. But I'm 100% sure I got diabetes.
So if any chinnies here have diabetes, does life suck? My life was going okay but I think now it's starting to go in the dumps.

I think it's over for me, I'm very physically active and fit and I still manage to get diabetos fml
Chud 10/08/26 (Thu) 11:32:19 № 735603
I don't but know ppl who do and yes it sucks
Chud 10/08/26 (Thu) 11:35:37 № 735604
You can manage it thou
Chud 10/08/26 (Thu) 11:50:21 № 735605
>self-diagnosing diabetes after eating some nuggets while being fit and active What?
Chud 10/08/26 (Thu) 11:55:27 № 735606
>>735604 From what I'm reading, yeah you can. I'm starting to feel better now but I'm still feeling some minor drowsiness and minor chest discomfort. Most times as long as I'm not eating anything greasy I feel okay. I think I'm still able to enjoy most things I already like, just no more McNuggets.
>>735605 It's the consistent symptoms going on for days now.
>Dry Mouth >Drowsiness >Chest Discomfort >Eating anything really greasy or high in sugar makes symptoms worse. Especially butter. First I'd assume it's just high cholesterol as I was diagnosed with that years ago (eventually went away) if it wasn't for the sugar also causing the same issues.

just one singular meal can't give you diabetes, i guess if you're really worried you could go to like urgent care and do a blood test once you can
Chud 10/08/26 (Thu) 12:21:52 № 735611
but i guess you could have pre-diabetes already or just type 2 that's developing

buying one of those glucose meters in the pharmacy can kinda help to give some data
Chud 10/08/26 (Thu) 13:13:48 № 735618
>>735612 I only eat fast food once a week, sometimes twice if I'm going out with someone. My diet consists of eggs, beans, fruits, chicken, and sometimes veggies. And then maybe gummy worms or Doritos to munch while using le puter alongside a Diet Pepsi. If goyslop once a week made me get diabetos Imma rip my nuts off.
>>735615 Already have one in storage but haven't used it. Already checked my blood pressure multiple times and it fluctuates between normal and elevated.

>>735618 imo that sounds more like cardiovascular stress rather than diabetes, you already have the high cholesterol thing and the mcnuggets were the "trigger" so could not be diabetes but idk
Chud 10/08/26 (Thu) 17:19:52 № 735666
>>735621 I hope so. I also just learned that my health benefits starts on January 1st, not after the enrollment period. Frick! Gonna have to wait like three months

An update on this. My blood sugar levels have been normal during the past two days, only once being 139mg/dL post-eating, which is just one number off from the prediabetes range, which is concerning, as it was a very light meal. Still have some dryness in my mouth and on my skin but it has improved, and my lips are still really dry. Researching with AI and it suggests I don't have diabetes, but I severely doubt it. Maybe I need to test my readings with goyslop instead of healthslop.

Results came it, I don't have diabetes. But that still doesn't explain the symptoms I've been having.

>>738910 My target weight is 130 lbs. Pushing -120 makes me a brittle weak skeleton, pushing +140 makes my face fat. I'm gonna need to eat a lot of goyslop while at the same time being cautious about it, as I'm getting close to prediabetes, but technically I'm considered normal.

>>738912 Idk, I don't feel very bad at this weight, but sometimes I'm tired when my parents/friends take me to the mountains. But I don't know if it's weight or rather brain reward system because I have autism and maybe also adhd.
Monotone walking doesn't give me as much pleasure.
