I know some people who I can get raw milk from. I sometimes do like when I need heavy cream but I am also OK with homogenized and pasteurized whole milk. Especially from Costco because they habe stricter standards for bacteria counts which is also why the date is so much further put than a regular grocery store.

Now farm fresh eggs? Backyard eggs? I can totally tell the difference and it's worth it.

It doesn't last long but if there's a farm up the street go get some. Make sure to shake the bottle. My uncles have Holsteins up north.
